Byron Nelson Golf School

The Byron Nelson Golf School has two purposes: it will sharpen your golf skills so that you enjoy the game more, and it will provide a fun and team-building experience for business groups and their clients. Can learning the basics of the game at a golf school really be fun? As Byron Nelson explains, "For one, there is no sense in participating in a golf school unless your ultimate goal is to increase your own enjoyment of the game. Second, it's difficult to change playing habits in golf without some advice from an instructor you trust."

Golfers who take part in the three-day clinics are coached on the basics of the game, like how to straighten out a slice and blast out of traps. Students will come away from the school with more confidence in their swing, and a better attitude about their game.

Camaraderie is also an important element of the school, as business groups participate in the school's program as a way to build teamwork, award achievement and strengthen client relationships. By the time the awards dinner rolls around on the program's last evening, participants will find they have bonded through their experiences and shared passion for the game.
